Our new website is live!

The other month I had a sudden urge to re-design my website!  So I did it!  And the genius that is David Hancock from Best Online Solutions has just finished building it for me!

I am a little bit excited, and have been Facebooking it and all sorts today, so now it’s the poor old blogs turn.  Take a peek at it HERE and browse our lovely ranges of organic cotton clothing!

I have opted for a fresh colour scheme, and an easy to navigate, simple layout which show cases all of our lovely ranges to their best.

We LOVE it when a new collection arrives here at The Cotton Tree!  And the summer collection is always our fave!!

We have been busy getting the shop ready for the summer and tweaking the website to include all of our new lovely clothing and toys.  We only sell organic cotton clothing which is perfect for your little ones’ skin and it washes very well so great for all that messy summertime play!

Ilfracombes many talents..

The Cotton Tree is now ONE YEAR OLD!!  But instead of just going on about us, I’d like to tell you a bit more about Ilfracombe’s other great successes!  Our varied selection of local businesses really help make the town what it is today and we should celebrate them.  Check out this handy map of creative Ilfracombe here.

Ilfracombe has a little bit of an on-going (and rather out-dated!) reputation of being a bit run down, but in actual fact it is brimming with lots of happy creative people and LOADS of independent businesses – which is quite rare for a town of it’s size. There are now hardly any empty shops on the High Street, which is lovely to see and you can pretty much get everything you need in one fail swoop.

After the installation of Verity, courtesy of the lovely Mr Hirst, the town has began to blossom and you can really see local businesses adapting to a completely different type of customer.  Granted, there are still your colourful seaside shops (which are an absolute must-have for any seaside resort and we love them!), but they are now surrounded and complemented by independent galleries, wine bars, lovely restaurants and many independent retailers.
